The ProForm Pro 9000 previously held the crown for the best treadmill in 2022. When we originally scored this running machine, it was competitively priced at $1,799.
However, a large price increase to $2,299 caused the score to drop from 9.6/10 to 9.1/10. We no longer feel that the features are good enough for the price.

About the Proform Pro 9000 Treadmill
The ProForm Pro 9000 treadmill is certainly a beast of a machine! We’ve searched extensively to find out what customers had to say about this machine -after all, they’re the ones who’ve parted with their hard-earned cash.
The overall consensus is that this treadmill met or exceeded expectations. The negative comments were in the minority and only relate to minor niggles. When compared with the overwhelmingly positive views of this machine, they really do seem insignificant.
The iFit feature is a real winner for most customers, and the integrated 22″ HD touchscreen makes it that little bit better.
Letting the machine down from our point of view is the low maximum user weight (300 lbs sounds high, but we’ve rated machines cheaper than this, which can support 350 lb+ users), but aside from that, there is nothing really to fault. Therefore, if you weigh more than 300 lbs, you will need to find an alternative. For those under 300 lbs, there is no reason not to shortlist this machine.
One other niggle we saw on other iFit-enabled machines was connectivity. Make sure your internet connection is good in the room you plan to use the machine. If not, you can always buy a booster so the signal is better and your workouts don’t suffer.
It made our Best Treadmill for Under $2,000 in 2022; however, as previously mentioned, it has slipped due to a large price increase.
