About the ProForm Carbon T7 Treadmill
The ProForm Carbon T7 is a lower budget treadmill, ideal for those looking for some home cardio workouts without breaking the bank.
The treadmill comes with a decent sized 7″ monitor, a 10% incline setting and an adequate sized running deck, and includes basic features such as folding design, workout fans, and speakers.
But is it worth the money? When we’re reviewing a treadmill we look at the running area, motor size, top speed, incline percentage, whether it has a decline setting and maximum user weight. As you might expect, the more expensive a treadmill is, the more of these features you get. Well, when examining the ProForm Carbon T7 Treadmill, we found the features to be towards the bottom end of what we might expect for the price. This means that we have given it a slightly lower score because you might expect a larger running deck, higher top speed, and more powerful motor in this price bracket.
In addition to the features falling below what we expect for the price, customer reviews have been poor as well.
That said, when this product is on promotion or special offer, this changes things. Everything is relative, so in the US, at the time of writing, this machine is $999, but a sale of $899 or less starts to make this treadmill more appealing and we say that if you can pick this up for $800 then do it – at this price, the features are above what you might otherwise expect.
It’s hard to ignore the negative reviews, but they are in the minority and mainly relate to receiving a faulty machine. If that’s just luck of the draw, then it looks like the odds are in favour of you getting a decent machine.
