You shouldn’t worry – there are some great options for lower budgets. And with a Savvy Score of 9.3 out of 10, the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 is certainly worth the $2,499 price tag.

NordicTrack Commercial 1750

NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill

Many treadmill guides we’ve read include the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 as their best overall treadmill. We disagree with this and have such awarded this particular treadmill a Savvy Score of 8.6 out of 10.

It seems to us like other treadmill review sites are not accounting for customer ratings. This treadmill only received 4 out of 5 from over 100 customer reviews. Yes, the stats are fantastic – and that’s why it has made our top 4, but there is no escaping the poor customer reviews.

If not for these poor customer scores, the NordicTrack 1750 might have even topped our list. Customer concerns included the belt slipping, and one buyer had the motor replaced twice in 5 years – however, they concede to the fact that they were using it regularly and had run over 7,500 miles on it.

PROS:
  • Perfect for those with joint problems or other medical issues which require low-impact exercise
  • Great quality product, which easily folds away for storage, making it the ideal choice for those with less space to work with
  • Sturdy machine with quiet operation
  • Strong, powerful motor
  • A large running deck allows taller runners to train without a problem

CONS:
  • The belt seems to slip according to one user
  • Another user had the motor replaced twice in 5 years but was using it very regularly (over 7,500 miles)

Key Specs for the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill

  • Motor power: 3.5 CHP
  • Top Speed: 12 mph (22 km/h)
  • Running area: 22″ x 60″ (55 x 152 cm)
  • Incline percentage: -3% to 15%
  • Screen size: 14″
  • Max. user weight: 300 lbs (135 kg)

NordicTrack X22i Incline Trainer

The NordicTrack X22i is very similar to the X32i – the main difference being the screen size. When combining our score with customer ratings, it only received 7.8 out of 10 compared with 9.7 out of 10 for the X32i.

That said, it is still a great option if you want an incline trainer but can’t afford to splash out on the X32i.

NordicTrack EXP 7i

  1. I just got the 2022 Nordictrack Commercial 1750 and I’m so so disappointed. They advertised runners flex cushioning like they had for years. There is zero cushioning. After days going back and forth with Nordictrack, they “apologize” but my brand new 2022 model doesn’t have that feature that was advertised. It feels extremely hard like concrete. Furthermore, they offered a tiny (insulting) credit for my “trouble”. I said I’d rather return it and get a treadmill with some kind of cushion. Not my fault it doesn’t have it when advertised. They said ok but you have to pay a $250 return fee. Unbelievable.
